Becas Pa'lante!
Look What You Helped Us Accomplish!
Since its inception in 2022, Becas Pa'lante has awarded more than 50 scholarships to boys and girls who now can train seven times per week for 11 months in the year! There is now a also girls team and CEPER has expanded its coaching staff to accommodate a total of more than 80 kids of all ages. The program has also provided to all kids uniforms (short, shirt and socks) that are used in training and competitions.

Becas Pa’lante provides financial support so that young children can receive soccer and physical training through CEPER in Ciudad Bolivar, Colombia.
The program is open to children ages 5-16. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance, commitment to practicing sports and perceived vulnerability to drugs, violence and other dangers of the streets. We envision Becas Pa’lante will continue to expand to serve an additional 25 children by 2024.
We believe access to formal training will help these wonderful kids develop discipline, teamwork capabilities and a sense of purpose.
